POTM is Madcap Adventure-worthy!!!
Tuesday, April 18, 2006, 07:39 PM

oscar.wurdock.com is my most-looked-forward-to "bookmark"... I've been introduced to this blogging world via a website named for the son (Oscar) of the IT guy at work (Tom) and his wife (Amy)... and I never imagined reading about someone else's kid (because I tend to think mine are pretty great) would be such entertainment. But it is - pure joy - "reading candy", if you will...

And now, well, I am Madcap Adventure-worthy!!! If you click on the 'related link' below, you'll see where Amy (a giant in the blogging world, according to me) mentioned Passing On The Memories in her entry today! Successful blogging = traffic, so whoo-hoo! I'm so happy - I'm crying again! Thanks to her, again, for lending her design and techno talent to POTM - and may it grow at even a fraction of Oscar's... :)

Gavins baby album...
Tuesday, April 18, 2006, 07:07 AM
On Friday I returned Gavin's baby album to his mom... she teared up, so I consider that success!

This really was my first formal arrangement to do someone else's album for them... and it all started because I was tired of the envelopes upon envelopes of pictures falling out of my friend's armoire when she opened the drawer. Gavin and my oldest, TJ, are 11 days apart - so everything since our first trimester has been a journey together. Well, when the boys were three and TJ's scrapbook was all caught up and Gavin didn't have one... I offered to try to make sense of all the pictures to get something together for him. It was a fun process - there were phone calls to ask which event came before the other, and I loved asking the questions: this layout or that, this color or another... for as good of friends as we are, it was still an even more intimate process to create something she would love.

That's the beauty in the end of having the scrapbook - you get to enjoy it forever!

ROCK ON!
Sunday, April 16, 2006, 04:16 PM
So is this totally cool, or what!???!!?!?! I am pleased and astounded to present my first-ever SCRAPBOOKING BLOG! I would like to note, with as much permanence as cyberspace allows, that this would not be at all possible without the assistance of Tom and Amy. They have become quick friends to us and somehow answer every techie question I can conger up. I actually am beyond thrilled and really don't have words to say HOW COOL it is to see this site live on the computer instead of only the idea floating around (aimlessly, mind you) in my head: the name, awesome colors, and a place where I will be able to share scrapbooking journeys with you all.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, Mr. & Mrs. Grouch!!!

Anything can be done!
Sunday, April 16, 2006, 01:07 PM
Anything can be done! This is the motto by which I appreciate living the most. There are so many possibilities, so many combinations of "life" to be done, that whe I've found one that works... or maybe many that haven't... I take a moment to be grateful for the opportunity life offers.

My name is Ann Marie Waltzer and I am beginning an adventure as a Creative Consultant - someone who will help you organize, store and present your photographic treasures for generations. A little more about me: I am a wife to my husband Duane and mother to my two boys, Thomas and Gabriel. We live in Eagan, Minnesota, with our dog Bonnie and four fish. :) I have spent a lifetime cherishing "crafty time" with my mom and girlfriends, and truly appreciate the new wave of detail and hip products that have emerged in recent years. Out of sewing, quilting, genealogy and writing... scrapbooking is by far my most enjoyable art.

Pass On The Memories is a personal scrapbooking business I have started to accomplish the request often made of me: "Can you just do this for me?" And I am answering with a resounding "YES!" Check back often for updates on my latest projects, scrapbooking tips and more! If you would like to contact me right way for a list of FAQ or Pricing, please do so at: passonthememories@hotmail.com! It will be a pleasure to go on the journey with you to preserve your memories.
